The practice will be CLOSED on Thursday 6th December 2018 from 1pm – 6:30pm for Protected Learning Time.We will open as normal on Friday 7th December 2018. The Island Medical Centre also offers the following clinics:

Nurse Clinics – family planning & sexual health, diabetes & asthma reviews, travel vaccinations, dressings, childhood immunisations, cervical screening (pap smear test) etc. Ask at reception for further information.
The Nurses & Health Care Assistants work Monday – Saturday.

Antenatal Clinic (Midwife)  – Monday mornings by appointment.

Health Visitors Baby Clinics – See babies for their 6-8 week checks on alternate Wednesdays 9:30 – 12:00 by appointment only.

They also have a The Community Well Baby Clinic Mondays  13:30 – 15:00 for parents to get advice & have their children weighed. This clinic is for children aged 0 – 5 years & will be a drop in service, appointments are also available which you would need to contact the Health Visiting Team on 0207 363 1125 to book.

If you are experiencing chest pain, any other life threatening emergency or for urgent medical advice that cannot wait until the surgery reopens please dial 999.

If you need medical care or advice when the practice is closed please dial 111 to speak to the NHS 111 service, which is free of charge, the will be able to offer you medical advice or direct you to the most appropriate service.

Routine appointments can be booked up to 3 months in advance with a doctor or practice nurse. Appointment times start as early as 8:30 on certain days. We also offer late evening appointments up to 19:45 on Mondays & Wednesdays. Please see below for clinic times.
